A visionary instinct
Born in Bordeaux, the son of Alexis Lichine—former owner of Château Prieuré-Lichine and Château Lascombes in Margaux—Sacha could have followed the well-worn path of classified growths. Instead, he chose to break with tradition in Provence. In 2006, he acquired a neglected estate and set out to achieve what few believed possible: to make rosé a truly great wine. It was a bold gamble, driven by sharp instinct and relentless effort. “I set out to make the best wine I could—and above all, one I truly loved.”Nearly twenty years later, his vision has reshaped the global perception of rosé.
