The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine With its perfectly honed winemaking techniques, Château Marsau is an artisanal estate that demonstrates - if it were still necessary to do so - that there exists in the shadow of the Grands Crus Classés a small number of passionate winemakers with wonderful productions in the great Bordeaux region.

The Chadronnier family has been working for two generations to reveal all the beauty of this unique terroir and to develop its rich and well-preserved ecosystem. However, the last few years, thanks to Anne-Laurence's impetus, have given this wine the extra soul it needs to distinguish itself forever from all others.
Wine Pure Merlot, the 2016 Red Chateau Marsau Francs Côtes de Bordeaux, is a seductive, full-bodied, extremely appealing example of a Bordeaux wine that reveals itself today in a deep and very juicy style. The fresh, intense flavors of fruit and the present but smooth tannins form an ensemble that is both generous and subtle, which will pair beautifully with a duck breast or a fine entrecote. Rated 91/100 by Olivier Poussier.
Vinification Hand harvested, aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 30% of which are new.
