The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine It’s one of the greatest success stories in the wine world over the past two decades. Esclans has become a global phenomenon, its influence reaching far beyond France. Sacha Lichine has revolutionized rosé, elevating it to the status of a serious fine wine. Case in point: Whispering Angel is now the best-selling rosé in the United States.

Since 2006, every detail at the estate has been fine-tuned in pursuit of excellence—taking cues from Champagne’s precision and craftsmanship. From vinification to aging, the tools and techniques are top-tier, and the result is a wine that sets a new benchmark for quality in high-volume production.

Beyond Whispering Angel, the Château d’Esclans wines define a new standard for luxury rosé. Partially aged in barrel and built to age, they pair beautifully with refined cuisine and have earned their place on the most prestigious tables—including Michelin-starred restaurants. These are rosés crafted with the care and ambition of grand crus—don’t miss the chance to experience them.
Wine A benchmark among Provence rosés, the 2023 Côtes de Provence Château d’Esclans Rosé offers delicate notes of red fruit and subtle spice, all carried by a fresh, refined, and beautifully pure structure. It’s already a delight to enjoy—perfect alongside Mediterranean cuisine, from oven-roasted fish to grilled vegetables. A summer essential, now available at a special price.
Vinification Mechanical harvest at night. Fermentation and ageing in stainless steel tanks for half the grapes (50%) and the other half in demi-muids (600L French oak barrels).
