The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A benchmark of Châteauneuf-du-Pape with 3 stars in the RVF Guide, Domaine de Marcoux is one of the essential names in the southern Rhône Valley.

Farmed biodynamically, these wines possess a rare purity and depth, driven by energy and power without relying on any aging artifices. These iconic expressions, shaped by the character of perfectly ripened Grenache, age gracefully and consistently set the standard for excellence in the region.
Wine Sumptuous indeed. According to Olivier Poussier, Best Sommelier in the World and member of our Selection Committee, the 2022 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red is a truly magnificent wine. Showing wonderful ripeness, it displays rare elegance, opening with refined notes of garrigue, tapenade and blood orange. The palate follows in the same graceful register, layered with Mediterranean hints of wild herbs and dry scrubland, offering impressive volume, texture and flesh, yet never in excess. Perfectly balanced, this is a great wine built to age for 15 to 20 years. A Selection Committee favorite, rated 94/100 and 95/100 by Parker. Here’s your chance to secure a benchmark Châteauneuf-du-Pape from an exceptional vintage.
Vinification Hand harvested in 50kg crates. Vinification with indigenous yeasts, maceration for 4 to 5 weeks. Aged in 350L concrete vats and foudres for 18 months.
